Our Story
Embarking on the journey of pregnancy and parenthood is a blessing. We want to help you feel calm, confident and in-control as you enter every phase.
Connecting yoga with your journey in parenthood
The specialist areas of Pregnancy & Postnatal Yoga encourage you to build positive relationships between your mind, body and baby. This is fundamental for your well-being during these times, as well as creating a sense of community.
Being pregnant or postnatal fits in with the fundamentals of traditional Yoga. You learn how to take it slow, approach situations without ego and take time to understand and appreciate your body.
I’m Molly, it’s a pleasure to meet you!
When I qualified as a yoga instructor, I quickly realised how much I loved teaching pregnant and postnatal clients. Helping mums switch off, move their bodies, and feel good in their minds gave me a real sense of purpose. When I fell pregnant with Elijah, I did some extra training to specialise in Pregnancy & Postnatal Yoga. I even started teaching while I was pregnant — and went on to have the most amazing birth, even when things didn’t go exactly to plan!
After giving birth, I felt strong and well-prepared, thanks to everything I’d learned. Then the pandemic hit when Elijah was just four weeks old, so I took my classes online — running them for free for months. It was chaotic, but so special to see a sense of community grow, even in the middle of lockdown and newborn life!
When we were able to run in-person classes again, Bump, Birth & Beyond was born. Over time, we added Toddler and Kids Yoga too, because supporting families doesn’t stop at postnatal life. I wanted to create a space where children can grow strong, confident, and calm — and parents can feel supported, connected, and part of a community that actually gets it.
I wouldn’t have had such an empowering experience as a first-time mum without the right guidance, and that’s exactly why I do what I do. I’m here to help parents in Plymouth feel confident, calm, and supported — from pregnancy, through postnatal life, and all the way into Toddler and Kids Yoga. Because parenting is messy, amazing, exhausting, joyful… and it’s better when you’ve got someone in your corner.
